Lídia Paes Leme

Lidia is a teacher and a researcher. Her main field of study has been environmental preservation. She recently coordinated several projects related to teaching permaculture and sustainability in the USA. She holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Biological Oceanography from the Oceanographic Institute of the University of São Paulo, focusing on ecology of ecosystems and the feeding relationships of fish.

Her research has been mainly focused on permaculture and urbanism, as well as studying and teaching English as a second language. She keeps questioning and looking to find curious facts about the nature surrounding us, learning and sharing as she goes!

Always very curious; trying to upcycle and recycle everything that is possible. Lidia is very interested in handcrafts and handmade work, and all related to sustainability.

She is honored to say that she’s been part of the blog for a while! She is now part of the translator team.
